Mongolia Climate

Mongolia, the city of Ulaanbaatar. It is a reminder of Mongolia greatest man Genghis Khan who founded the empire. The nomadic lifestyle of its people who were brought together to conquer the world. The Mongolia’s nomadic was basically to live of the land, and it became one of the most feared country by those surrounding its borders in Eurasia and Asia, they conquered as far a as Ukrainian to China. They lived the nomadic lifestyle, horses and live stock as trading became their way of acquiring goods. The changing climate landscape of today Mongolia tells a different story, it is one of pollution and harsh conditions. People look to the city of Ulaanbaatar for opportunities, and leave the nomadic lifestyle behind. The right conditions has given big companies in search of minerals the ideal place for excavation of the land, and factories that pollute the sky’s. It’s also the harsh conditions of its winter that force people to keep warm at whatever means possible, there are skyscrapers and apartments as people move away from herding and nomadic lifestyles. by: Roberto Ortiz
